Prevention

September 18th, Dog fights off West Nile
A Jack Russell terrier in Columbus may be the first dog in the state to test positive for West Nile virus. Results returned this week from a preliminary blood test indicate that Donna Wallace's dog, Eddie, may have the disease which has sickened nearly 200 people in Montana this year. "People with dogs should be warned that, yes, your dog can get West Nile, because (people) are always telling you they can't get it," Wallace said.
