We looked at lots of different dog life jackets and decided that this was the best one on the market (plus it is made by Premier, who brings Gentle Leader -- they are known for safe quality products). This jacket has a soft mesh net sling that fits under your dog's belly instead of just a couple of straps like most of the jackets I looked. PLUS, it has a neck collar to keep your dog's head above water. This jacket also is easy to put on -- It has adjustable straps that go around your dog so that the jacket fits snug and has easy to grab handles.

Even dogs that are at home in water can easily be over come by the wakes of other boats on a lake or river. PLEASE make sure your dogs (and human friends) are safe when you go boating, and wear a life vest.

Measure the circumference of chest just behind the front legs at its deepest point (Fido Floats are sized differently than other apparel.)

X-Small - fits dogs between 16 and 20 inches around.

Small - fits dogs between 20 and 24 inches around.

Medium - fits dogs between 24 and 28 inches around.

Large - fits dogs between 28 and 32 inches around.

X-Large - fits dogs between 32 and 38 inches around.

XX-Large - fits dogs between 38 and 48 inches around.
