  • March 31, 2 charged with abuse of pets in Plantation
    Miami--Two Plantation women were arrested Saturday evening and charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty after authorities found at least a dozen emaciated cats and dogs with no food or water living in their duplex. Plantation Police Detective Steve Geller said neighbors reported a foul smell in the neighborhood earlier in the day. About 6 p.m., officials from the Broward County Animal Care and Regulation Division approached the duplex at 7200 and 7204 NW 16th St.
